What do I need to do as a coach to get the season started?

- Complete my Netball Qld Foundation Coaching course & Rules of Netball

Volunteer Blue Card:
All PBNC Coaches & Managers are required to have a Blue Card (V), please apply here

Required Coaching Courses:
PBNC requires our coaches complete the online Foundation course, which is the first progression of Netball Australia’s 6-tier accreditation pathway. More Information.
PBNC highly recommends all coaches complete Rules of Netball theory examination. To access this, you will need to log into MyNetball and navigate to Online Learning then use the Browse Available Courses to search for Rules of Netball Theory Examination. MyNetball Link here

Netball Connect Coach Registration:
You will be required to register online via NetballConnect. The club will pay the $45 insurance fee on your behalf. Please look out for the email link from PBNC
Training & Games :

All training will be at Mallawa Drive Sports Complex, Palm Beach – Dates & times coordinated directly between coach & coaching convenors. Training court allocation to be advised

Club Carnivals:
We will share local club carnivals on the PBNC C&M facebook page, please liaise with your Manager to coordinate your players. Further information on how to request an Umpire will also be provided.

Incident report link & process:
Process for reporting an incident at netball (training or game)
- Complete incident report form or contact the committee at PBNC at co*******@**********************om.au. Information should be as factual as possible.
- Forms should be completed in the first instance, or after speaking with a committee member.
- You will be advised by a committee member to complete the form (if not already done so) and once this has been received, the PBNC committee will come back to you within 48 hours to confirm receipt of the incident report.
- Once received, the PBNC Executive Committee will investigate the incident and contact the necessary parties involved.
- When the PBNC Executive Committee has come to a conclusion / solution, the person reporting the incident will be notified, together with the rest of the PBNC committee, unless otherwise requested. The PBNC Executive Committee will endeavour to do this within 7-10 days.
